This lead-free solder is 100 percent safe for jewelry, skin contact and food receptacle applications. It has the penetration, solderability, and capillary actions of 50/50 and maintains a beautiful pewter finish. 100 watt iron suggested. Melting temperature: 418 degrees F to 440 degrees F (214 degrees C to 227 degrees C) .
