At Ed Hoy’s International, exceeding our customer’s expectations is a daily goal. We have been a leader in the art glass industry for over 30 years. Throughout these years, our goal has been to consistently bring our customers new and innovative products, education and marketing ideas.
Ed Hoy’s 75,000 sq. ft. facility is centrally located 35 miles west of Chicago. Our extensive inventory consists of over 11,000 products and over 1.5 million square feet of art glass. This inventory allows us to keep “out-of-stocks” to a minimum. It also allows us to offer competitive pricing, passing the savings along to our customers in all 50 states and in over 50 countries worldwide.
Ed Hoy’s International does not sell retail. Rather than compete with our customers, we support them with our WHOLESALE ONLY policies. We strive for strong customer support not only with our inventory, but also with various Business Support offerings.
HISTORY
After 24 years in the technical photographic industry, and 10 years in precision etching of miniature circuitry for the micro-miniaturization industry, Ed retired and opened a small gift shop in Naperville in 1971. He filled the shop with giftware, clocks and a room with stained glass. Before long it was obvious that the glass had become the driving force, prompting Ed to devote 100% of the business to glass. As it grew, the store served as a model for new businesses by offering classes and freely providing business advice to a growing group of loyal customers.Ed Hoy’s became "wholesale only" in 1983. The business outgrew three buildings and three expansions before relocating to our current facility in 1998. Years have passed, trends have changed, but the strength of Ed Hoy’s remains.
